Papaaloa
Plantation is a 15 acre timber plantation overlooking the majestic Hamakua
coast on the Big Island of Hawaii. This vacation rental property is fully
fenced and features a new 2 bedroom home. The lush
surroundings include over 4000 trees planted on the property. Papaaloa Plantation is centrally located between
Hilo and Waimea and is an ideal spot for a family get away and for
communing with nature. Hiking, horseback riding and golf are available year round.
Majestic Waipio Valley is only 35 minutes away and Volcanoes
National Park is about an hour and a half drive and makes for a
great day trip.
The house was completed in 2003 and has two bedrooms, two lofts, a
full bath, a complete kitchen and a living and dining area.
The house is energy efficient, relying almost entirely upon solar
electricity and captured rainwater. We require a three night
